PROJECT: TANK FARM REFRESH
Electrical refresh of a liquid product tank farm at the Elizabeth Seaport. BP Electric provided and installed all new ladder rack, motor controls, sensors and equipment for product off-loading and distribution. All components are galvanized or stainless steel, with Siemens controls throughout.

PROJECT: BALER
New American Baler installation that collects paper and dust from equipment across the plant. The system bales paper scrap for recycling and compresses dust into briquettes for removal, and a dual baler setup provides redundancy. BP Electric installed a new 800A distribution network, a motor control center and system controls that can be accessed from multiple locations in the plant.

PROJECT: PRESS 2 & PRESS 3
German-made printing presses fed by an 800A 480V circuit, with conversion to 230V and 400V for the foreign equipment.

HP T410 digital printing press, fed by a 400A 480V circuit.

PROJECT: BINDER
The customer needed a fast turnaround: decommission the old book binding machine and bring a new one online. We disconnected and removed the old electrical feeds, then wired a new 400A 480V feed to a transformer stepping down to 400V. Flexible conduit feeds were pre-fabricated for each piece of equipment, so connections were made as soon as the new machines were set. Downtime stayed to a minimum and the customer was back in operation ahead of schedule.

New electrical service for a 93,000 sq ft warehouse, built from the ground up. BP Electric installed the new distribution gear and wired six rooftop units, the fire alarm system, three loading docks, two restrooms and the manager’s office.

Value engineering on the lighting package cut the cost and returned $12,000 to the customer.

Large utility services above 800 amps, from the transformer pad to the main switchgear. Our crews excavate and trench for underground conduit, set pads and vaults for pad-mounted transformers, and work alongside the utility on site.

Inside the building we pull and terminate the heavy service conductors, set the switchgear and metering, and install the grounding system.

BP Electric is an authorized Generac dealer, providing sales, installation and maintenance for commercial and residential standby power.

The projects shown range from a 10kW residential unit and 60kW and 100kW Generac generators up to a 2 megawatt generator system served by a 3,000A transfer switch.

Electrical fit-out for corporate conference rooms and boardrooms. The work includes LED panel lighting, power at the conference table, and power and connections for wall-mounted displays.

Interior electrical buildouts for bank branches, retail spaces and offices. BP Electric handles the branch panelboards, lighting for open floors and corridors, and exterior storefront lighting.

We also install fire alarm devices at exits and field wiring for retail walls, so the space is ready for the tenant on opening day.

Safety comes first on every job. BP Electric runs a full lockout/tagout program, with a dedicated station of padlocks, tags, hasps and breaker lockouts. Equipment stays de-energized and locked out while our electricians work on it.
